We had a blast rowing to False Creek and showing off the Bella Bella quad to our fellow rowers at the Head of the Creek regatta. The coastal quad is a bigger boat than the racing shells at the regatta, but can easily handle the big winds and waves that kicked up that day, causing havoc for some, and fun for the our crew!
Sometimes the water is a little deeper than you expect right Carol?
Our big blue flag tells you that Salish Sea rowers are nearby playing with the sea.
We wear the Salish Sea orange for pride and visibility.
Our beautiful blue quad the Bella Bella will be showing off at the first regatta of the season in Vancouver. Meet us at Vanier Park near the Coast Guard station beach at 10 am on Sunday. We will be wearing SSRC orange and big smiles, and we love talking rowing. We might be the only rowers hoping for big waves and rough seas that day!
